ACCESS
ROUTE

Navigation should work
for everyone.

Accessible routing powered by real-world community reports and AI-assisted accessibility analysis.

Why AccessRoute

The fastest route
is not always
a usable route.

A route can exist and still be inaccessible.

Stairs, construction, broken elevators, blocked sidewalks and missing curb ramps can completely change whether someone can use a route.

I built AccessRoute for my cousin.

Getting around the city is not always as simple as choosing the fastest route. Seeing the challenges my cousin faces navigating the city made me want to build something for him myself.

AccessRoute started there.

So I built a different kind of map.

A map shaped by real people, real places and real accessibility barriers so routes can reflect what someone will actually encounter.

The goal

A city should not become harder to navigate because a map is missing information.

How it works

Report what
the map
can't see.

A report today can make tomorrow's journey easier for someone else.

01

Capture

Take or upload a photo of an accessibility barrier.

02

Analyze

AccessRoute uses AI to suggest the barrier type and accessibility impact.

03

Share

Review the result and place the barrier on the community map.

04

Improve

Reports can help inform safer and more accessible routes.

Now enter the map

Plan around
what's really there.

AccessRoute

Explore the
community map.

Plan accessible trips, view reported barriers and contribute new reports using AI-assisted image analysis.
